Meet with the hiring manager and appropriate personnel to listen and learn about the experience and qualities desired in the candidates

Discuss the responsibilities and requirements of the position, along with the opportunities and challenges at hand
- Tour the department and facility
- Prepare detailed position specifications and organization summary
- Create a Candidate Questionnaire identifying experiences and strengths that may not be listed on a resume
- Present the most qualified candidates with extensive documentation including:
- Resume
- Candidate Questionnaire
- References
- Meet the candidate in person whenever proximity allows
- Schedule phone and onsite interviews
- Negotiate/present compensation when needed
- Stay in close contact with you and the candidate to ensure a successful transition and partnership
